Steps to success

Allianz Global Investors offers opportunities for undergraduates and graduates as well as programs targeted at professionals with a minimum of two to three years work experience with the Allianz Global Investors Group.

Internships

By providing internships, we help students to gain first insights into asset management and our worldwide organization. Internships allow students to acquire their first work experience in a highly competitive environment. This is needed when they apply as new hires later in their career.

For the international internships, we encourage students in their final year at university to apply, provided they have excellent grades and have already completed an internship in one of the companies belonging to Allianz Global Investors in their home region.

If you are interested in an international internship, please send your application directly to the human resources department of your preferred host location.

Programs for Graduates

Programs for new hires are developed and managed within the different regions. Applicants interested in joining us, should contact the human resources department in the region of their choice.

Global Development Program

For our top talents, we have created a special program designed to transfer business know-how and develop cross-cultural skills. The program is targeted at young professionals with a minimum of two years work experience within our organization. It combines class room learning in one of the world's leading business schools, the IMD in Lausanne (Switzerland), with a practical international assignment and work on a global business project. With four weeks training off-the-job and twelve weeks on-the-job in international assignments, the program aims at creating international networks and developing skills needed to be successful in our global industry.

Global Finance Program

Open to finance professionals with a minimum of two years work experience, the global finance program is designed to expose the participants to best practice within our organization's finance departments. Moreover, it supports transfer of knowledge. Consisting of different modules, the program is targeted at executives as well as professionals.

International Delegations

Professionals can be assigned to one of the international asset management companies. Of course, assuming a business requirement exists. The delegates work as part of the local team or as part of an international project team for a limited period of time. International delegations are a further step in sharing best practice and know-how as well as raising the intercultural competence of our professionals.
